Massachusetts Paper House Model Construction

I am just about ready to publish and offer the first in the paper house models series.  My sister talked me into breaking the book up into segments and it made sense.  If I'd left all 50 states of models in one book it could have been nearly 500 pages.  That does seem a lot for a craft book.  Dividing it by four has made it more convenient and maybe more affordable as well.  I may actually publish the first: the Southern States, today.

California Forest Fire Collage Tribute

I loved the colors and stark silhouettes caused by this fire collage.  I was inspired by the horrific consequences of the recent Camp Fire here in California that wiped out the town of Paradise and the forests beyond.  I had family living there that managed to get out just in time.  They lost everything but their lives.

Connecticut Victorian Gothic Paper House Model

I'm having so much fun with these little houses and patterns, I feel like I'm just playing around all day long.  Still, the book version of these is nearly ready to publish.  I just have to put it all together once each pattern is tried and proved to work well.  That's the fun part.

South Dakota Hotel Paper House Construction

This one is one of the oldest of my little house patterns and remains one of the most unique because of the skyline and roof.  Still easy to create but much more professional looking with the windows and hotel sign.  I can't wait to get the book ready for publication.  It's nearly there.
